High Country Nursery in Fairview, NC specializes in fine and unusual landscape plants and uncommon specimen trees. This includes Japanese maples, conifers, roses, gardenias, cold hardy tropicals, edgeworthia, camellias, select indoor and outdoor plants, and bonsai. We also have cherries, blueberries, sassafras, sourwood, mulberries, kiwi, paw paws, figs, persimmons, cold hardy banana and pomegranates, and other edible fruits and pollinators. All trees and plants are hardy to our local climate. New for 2024 is a cold hardy tea plant, that can grow outside in our climate.

Flame Creeper Azalea, Summer Snow Gardenia, four Kalmia( mountain laurel): Minuet, Pink Charm, Raspberry Glow and Sarah. Also have blooming red Center Stage Crepe Myrtle, two yellow Rhododendrons: Capistrano and Percy Wiseman; Red Drift roses and Double Play Candy Corn Spirea. Last but not least, two container berry plants- Blackberry Baby Cakes and Raspberry Shortcake. All in three gallon size containers. Will have these plants this Saturday August 17th at the North Asheville Farmers Market from 8am-Noon. See you there.
